Hello!
My name is Julissa Cavazos, a licensed speech-language pathologist and certified health coach. For over 22 years, I've held a license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas and have maintained my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
After experiencing personal health challenges, I became a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), which deepened my commitment to a more holistic, whole-person approach.
Most recently, I have seen powerful results in clients by integrating myofunctional therapy to increase production of speech sounds. Throughout my own journey, I've experienced the personal health benefits of practicing proper oral posture-both during the day and while sleeping, which has further affirmed the value of integrating myofunctional therapy into my practice.
